New Education Foundation Aims to Raise ‘Seven-Figure Amount’ to Bring Innovation to Classrooms

DOYLESTOWN, PA—A new education foundation is working on raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to boost the educational experiences of Central Bucks students by bringing innovation to the classroom.

The CB Education Foundation is aiming to raise big amounts of money to fund innovative learning strategies that the Central Bucks School District can’t otherwise pay for. The foundation was announced a little over two years ago by former Central Bucks Superintendent Abram Lucabaugh, who said he wanted the district to have a fundraising organization bringing in big amounts of money like other districts in the area.

While the foundation is technically two years old, it is just now getting fully up to speed. Foundation President Adam Assoian, a psychologist in Doylestown, said that tumult surrounding the previous board, followed by the abrupt resignation of Lucabaugh after the school board was swept by Democrats in the 2023 election, slowed down the group’s progress.
