DOYLESTOWN, PA—The Central Bucks School District is rolling out a virtual reality program to help teachers to take a more empathic approach to students with dyslexia, ADHD, depression and anxiety experience.
The program, EmpathED, uses a virtual reality simulation to give users an idea of how these students experience the classroom. At this month’s meeting of the school district’s Education Committee, a module on dyslexia from the program was played so district officials and audience members could get an idea of how it works.
