Letter From The President

A little over a year ago, the school district initiated the formation of an educational foundation intended to support large-scale projects and educational grants. The idea was born out of conversations among Central Bucks School District (CBSD) administrators about how to support the dynamic ideas that our teachers and educational leaders in CBSD routinely have – despite ever-tighter budget constraints. The funding would be intended for programs that would inspire and engage our world-class teachers and amazing students, providing resources for the “outside of the box” thinking that traditional school district budgets are not designed to support.

It is with these beliefs that the Central Bucks School District Education Foundation (CBSDEF) was formed, and it is why I am honored and feel a deep privilege to be the current President of the Board of Directors. Serving alongside me is a Board that represents parents, grandparents, alumni, business leaders, educational experts, and community leaders – all committed to a core mission, vision, and beliefs that we hope will resonate with CBSD families and community members.

Since the formation of the CBSDEF, the Board Members have been meeting at least once a month, diligently working to lay strong groundwork to ensure long-term success for the Foundation and, more importantly, Central Bucks School District students and teachers. Core to the success of any fundraising organization is transparency, and our board of directors is deeply committed to exist in a manner that inspires faith and confidence that the resources we are entrusted with are used wisely. After all, this foundation is for our CBSD community.

On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, I can confidently say that we are eager to serve you and our entire CBSD Community and look forward to working with you to continue to elevate our School District.

Warmly,

Dr. Adam Assoian

Board President
