General Guidelines
THE GRANT CYCLE IS NOW CLOSED. DECISIONS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON OCTOBER 1, 2025.
Two grant applications are available:
Microgrants – less than $500
Regular grants – $501 up to $10,000
If you have a request for a larger amount, please reach out to us.
A final report will be required for all awarded grants.
Grant recipients will be asked to provide photos and/or videos of the grant projects, where relevant, to be used for promotional purposes on the CBSDEF social media channels and in marketing materials.
We DO NOT award grants for monetary prizes and afterschool clubs, unless these clubs are tied directly to the current school curriculum as a means to expand and grow the educational experience.
You can read more about our grant review criteria here, but one of the most important considerations are those grants that benefit the largest number of students. Special preference is given to those grants that fall within the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) categories.
Timeline for Application Process:
Opens May 30, 2025
Closes August 29, 2025
Notification of acceptance: October 1, 2025
Rolling Acceptances: If your grant proposal was not accepted during the above grant cycle, we will continue to review applications that we received during this window in an effort to fund additional projects on a rolling basis throughout the year, as more funds become available.
